Softwood Lumber & Timber Posts for Contractors & Builders

Need V-groove paneling, tongue-and-groove boards, or something more custom? We mill all of it right here at our sawmill in Panguitch — and we’re happy to send you a sample before you commit to anything. Paneling always looks a little different in person than it does on a spec sheet, so we’d rather you see and feel it first.

We work in four species — Douglas Fir, Ponderosa Pine, Spruce, and White Fir — and they each bring something different to a project. Douglas Fir has a tighter grain and a warmer tone that tends to work well in commercial spaces. Ponderosa Pine leans more rustic. Since we mill everything to order instead of pulling from a warehouse, we can hold tighter tolerances than you’d typically get off the shelf, and if your spec calls for something we don’t carry as a standard profile, just tell us what you need — we can usually mill it.

One thing we hear a lot from architects: it’s nice to actually talk to the people running the saw instead of going through three layers of a distributor. If you’ve got a spec sheet or even just a rough idea of the profile you’re after, send it over and we’ll tell you honestly what’s doable, what it’ll cost, and how long it’ll take.

Why contractors work with us

You get to ask your questions straight to the people running the saw, not a distributor who’s three steps removed from the mill. And because every board is graded to the same standard, a large order arriving across multiple deliveries still holds up the same from the first piece to the last — which matters when a crew is depending on materials showing up on schedule. What we mill for you

If you’re ordering rough cut lumber, timber posts, or structural softwood for a job site, it all comes off the same mill in Panguitch, Utah. We work in Douglas Fir, Ponderosa Pine, Spruce, and White Fir, so whatever the build needs to hold up to, there’s a species that fits. And since we’re a Utah sawmill milling to order rather than pulling from a warehouse, you’re not stuck choosing from whatever’s sitting on a shelf.
